Kutaisi cut a 14-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. They outrebounded Kutaisi 44-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. TSU looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Davontrey Thomas (196, college: New Haven) who scored 32 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Glen Abram (188, college: WVSU, agency: JCK Sports Group) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
