Batumi dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Iverioni 's 22. They outrebounded Iverioni 53-29 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Batumi looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Miryne Thomas (203-1999, college: Kent St.) fired a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
