The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter20-11 . But Kutaisi won third quarter 29-25 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Batumi players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. International point guard Giorgi Ochkhikidze (190-2004, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Miryne Thomas (203-1999, college: Kent St.) contributed with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Batumi players scored in double figures. American point guard Detrek Browning (185-1995, college: FMU) replied with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and his fellow American import point guard Tyree Boykin (183-1999, college: App State) added 23 points in the effort for Kutaisi.
