Finals Game 3: Batumi - TSU 81-76

Date: May 26, 2026
TSU was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 24-16 charge of Batumi, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great shooting night for Batumi especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Miryne Thomas (203-1999, college: Kent St.) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. The former international Akaki Dvalishvili (207-1991) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Aleksandre Phevadze (207-1998) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard George Tsintsadze (194-1986) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. TSU's coach Lekso Lapanashvili rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
