Everything could happen in Goettingen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth rankedRheinland and 10th ranked Veilchen had identical 2-4 record. But Veilchen was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Odenthal 72-65 on Sunday night. Leverkusen had a 23-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Veilchen's coach Ruzica Dzankic tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Rheinland have a solid series of three victories in a row. Leverkusen (3-4) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Herner. Loser Veilchen keeps the tenth position with five games lost.
