There was a surprise result when sixteenth rankedFalcons (2-9) edged on the road higher ranked Koblenz (5-6) 80-78 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for American guard Gabe Kalscheur (193-1999, college: Iowa St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points. His fellow American import Daniel Monteroso (191-1994, college: West Liberty) helped adding 11 points. Falcons' coach Virgil Matthews used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Leon Friederici (190-1995) responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Ty Cockfield Jr (183-1996, college: Arkansas St., agency: BIG) scored 20 points and 6 assists. Nuernberg maintains sixteenth place with 2-9 record. Loser Koblenz dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with Crailsheim.
