There was no surprise in Karlsruhe where 14th rankedBensheim (1-8) was defeated by third ranked SC Wizards (8-1) 76-68 on Sunday. SC Wizards dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Bensheim 's 26. SC Wizards forced 19 Bensheim turnovers. Canadian-American power forward Tarig Eisa (203-1998, college: Regis Univ.) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard David Scheu (185-2003) chipped in 19 points. Guard Richard Maurer (190-1990) produced 17 points and Marc Liyanage (199-1990, college: Delta St.) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SC Wizards have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Bensheim lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifteenth place with eight games lost.
