There was no surprise in Giessen where 12th rankedKoblenz (5-9) was crushed by eighth ranked 46ers (9-5) 95-56 on Saturday. Giessen dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Koblenz 's 22 and made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Giessen looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Serbian forward Viktor Kovacevic (203-1999, college: West Liberty) scored 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Jonathan Maier (211-1992) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds during the contest.
