There was no surprise in Wuerzburg where 6th rankedMBC (6-5) was defeated by fourth ranked s Oliver Baskets (7-3) 86-76 on Saturday. Wuerzburg made 27-of-31 free shots (87.1 percent) during the game, while Weissenfels only scored ten points from the stripe. They outrebounded Weissenfels 35-24 including 22 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American Zachary Seljaas (202-1997, college: BYU) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds and Panamanian-Puerto Rican point guard Jhivvan Jackson (182-1998, college: UTSA) who added 15 points and 7 assists (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!) during the contest. The best for the losing side was Martin Breunig (203-1992, college: Montana) with 11 points and 5 assists and American point guard Charles Callison (185-1995, college: WSU, agency: Slash Sports) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Wuerzburg and five Weissenfels players scored in double figures. Wuerzburg moved-up to third place. Loser MBC dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Bonn and Chemnitz.
