Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Muenchen Ost (0-12) was outplayed at home by ninth ranked ASC Theresianum Mainz (4-7) 72-43 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Rabe (185-2004, college: Biola, CA) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and Canadian point guard Libby Epoch (170-1998) who added 18 points during the contest. Four ASC Theresianum Mainz players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Marlene Stechl (169-1998) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and Isabella Klose (180-2004) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Mainz maintains ninth position with 4-7 record. Newly promoted Muenchen Ost still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Mainz will meet at home higher ranked Saarlouis/Dillin. (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Muenchen Ost will play against the league's second-placed Wuerzburg (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
