Wasserburg forced 23 Rhein-Main turnovers and outrebounded them 46-33 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Ira Weymar (178-2006) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 16 rebounds and Canadian guard Kate Hill (170-1997, college: La Salle) who added 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Monika Wotzlaw (180-1999) with 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Marlen Weber (176-2003) scored 16 points. Wasserburg moved-up to third place. Loser Rhein Main Baskets dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Wasserburg will meet Heidelberg (#4) on the road in the next round.
