There was a surprise result in Nuernberg where seventeenth rankedFalcons (4-13) smashed higher ranked Titans (7-10) 102-69 on Sunday. Nuernberg shot 60.3 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Dresden 's players. Center Leo Saffer (212-2000) stepped up and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) for the winners and American guard Gabe Kalscheur (193-1999, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Five Falcons players scored in double figures. American forward Wes Dreamer (201-2000, college: NW Missouri St.) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Lucien Schmikale (194-1997) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nuernberg moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Artland and Duesseldorf. Loser Titans keeps the eleventh position with ten games lost.
