The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth rankedGiessen 's (10-4) road victory over 7th ranked Stuttgart MVT (8-6) 80-63 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian point guard Vladan Lazic (188-2001) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and naturalized Serbian Nemanja Nadjfeji (198-2000) who added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Greek guard Vassilis Lampropoulos (196-1990) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Croatian forward Marko Josipovic (199-2005) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Giessen moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Reutlingen. Stuttgart MVT lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with six games lost.
