Regular Season Round 15: Osnabrueck - Halle 76-73

The most exciting game of round 15 in the DBBL took place in Osnabrueck. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 6th rankedHalle (7-8) to fourth ranked Osnabrueck (10-5) 76-73 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was French point guard Melissa Diawakana (170-1992) who scored 23 points. Russian forward Kamilla Sudhoff (183-1999, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Osnabrueck's coach Sasa Cuic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American center River Baldwin (196-2001, college: NC State) who recorded 19 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Nicole Brochlitz (171-2004) added 25 points respectively. Osnabrueck have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Saarlouis. Halle at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Osnabrueck is looking forward to face Hannover (#5) on the road in the next round. Halle will play against Veilchen and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
