There was an upset when 4th placedGiessen (12-5) was smashed on the road by tenth ranked Saarlouis (6-11) 99-75 on Saturday. Saarlouis outrebounded Giessen 41-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. Saarlouis looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Giessen 's players. It was an exceptional evening for American center Jordan Camper (203, college: Lincoln, PA) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Matthias Meier (195-1997) accounted for 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side. American forward Miles Mallory (196, college: RMC) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and naturalized Serbian Nemanja Nadjfeji (198-2000) added 19 points respectively for Giessen in the defeat. Saarlouis moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Goetting.ASC and Soeflingen. Loser Giessen dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Braunschweig.
