Not a big story in a game when 17th rankedBG Goettingen (1-19) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Chemnitz (12-9) 94-90 on Saturday. Chemnitz looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jacob Gilyard (175-1998, college: Richmond) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 assists and 4 steals. Naturalized Ivorian forward Kevin Yebo (207-1996) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. The former international Kostja Mushidi (195-1998) produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and American power forward Demajeo Wiggins (208-1997, college: BGSU, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Chemnitz and five Goettingen players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Chemnitz moved-up to fifth place. Goettingen lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 19 lost games.
