Very expected game when 7th rankedHerford (14-12) lost at home to second ranked Loewen (21-4) 98-93 on Saturday. Loewen looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Canadian Gilbert Gyamfi (193, college: John Brown) nailed 30 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American point guard Bryant Allen (183-1990, college: Dakota St.) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Tristan Harper (198-2000, college: Langston) came up with 22 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and Irish forward Sanmi Fajana (203-2001, college: Parkside, agency: Helping Ballers) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Herford in the defeat. Five Loewen and four Herford players scored in double figures. Herford's coach Nicolai Coputerco tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Loewen . They maintain second place with 21-4 record having just thirteen point less than leader Westerstede. Loser Herford keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost.
