ALBA Berlin forced 20 Halle turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Deeshyra Thomas (170-1995, college: Weber St.) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Stefanie Grigoleit (186-1989) accounted for 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. ALBA Berlin's coach Cristo Cabrera allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international guard Emma Stach (175-1996, college: Gonzaga) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Krystal Freeman (183-1999, college: Tulane) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Halle in the defeat.
