Rotenburg/Scheessel forced 22 Stuttgart MTV turnovers. The best player for the winners was American forward Maren Durant (190-2001, college: GWU) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. The former international guard Pia Mankertz (170-1990) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Rotenburg/Scheessel players scored in double figures. Salma El-Haiwan (170-2002) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Anastasia Schlipf (180-2004) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
