Eighth defeat of league's leaderratiopharm Ulm (20-8) against tenth ranked s Oliver Baskets (14-12) 89-72 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ratiopharm Ulm. Wuerzburg forced 21 Ulm turnovers and outrebounded them 34-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Panamanian-Puerto Rican point guard Jhivvan Jackson (182-1998, college: UTSA) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 assists. The former international Lukas Wank (198-1997) contributed with 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four s Oliver Baskets players scored in double figures. The former international Karim Jallow (198-1997) replied with 12 points and Israeli point guard Ben Saraf (197-2006) added 9 points in the effort for Ulm. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wuerzburg moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Ulm at the other side dropped to the second position with eight games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Bayern.
