Finals Game 1: Keltern - Saarlouis 92-54

Keltern dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Saarlouis' 34. They outrebounded Saarlouis 45-26 including a 37-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Canadian-Hungarian center Alexandria Kiss-Rusk (194-1993, college: McGill) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and the former international point guard Alexandra Wilke (175-1996) chipped in 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Keltern players scored in double figures. Keltern's coach Matea Tavic felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Martha Burse (168-1996, college: Indianapolis) responded with 18 points and Lithuanian forward Gabija Meskonyte (181-1998) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds.
