Regular Season Round 2: Leimen - Wuerzburg 59-76

Rather predictable result when Sharks beat on the road Leimen 76-59 on Saturday. Wuerzburg dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Leimen's 24. Wuerzburg forced 23 Leimen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Sharks players scored in double figures. Nataliia Babii responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Imena Aruna scored 14 points. Leimen's coach Michael Herb tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sharks will meet Stuttgart MTV on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Leimen will play against Mainz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
