Regular Season Round 2: Rhoendorf - Leverkusen 50-81

An interesting game where Leverkusen crushed host Rhoendorf with 31-point difference 81-50 on Sunday evening. Rheinland dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Talents' 30. Rheinland forced 26 Talents turnovers and outrebounded them 46-29 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Tessa Brugler (185-1999, college: Drexel) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Rheinland players scored in double figures. responded with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Martha Middeler scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Leverkusen will meet at home Oberhausen in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rhoendorf will play against Braunschweig and hope to secure a win.
