No shocking result in a game whenWasserburg defeated at home Stuttgart MTV 90-74 on Sunday. Wasserburg outrebounded Stuttgart MTV 46-25 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Wasserburg looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Stuttgart MTV 's players. Portuguese forward Tess Santos (181-1999, college: Denver) scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four Wasserburg players scored in double figures. responded with 16 points and point guard Joanna Scheu (167-2005) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wasserburg will meet Heidelberg on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Stuttgart MTV will play against Wuerzburg and hope to win that game.
