There was a surprise result when seventeenth rankedRheinStars (2-5) won against on the road higher ranked Muenster (2-5) 83-78 on Friday. American guard Cedric Russell (188-1999, college: Ohio St., agency: Olsta) fired 18 points for the winners. point guard Rupert Hennen (184-1997) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. RheinStars' coach Stephan Baeck used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Julian Larry (190, college: Texas) produced 20 points and 5 assists and the other American import forward Nicholas McMullen (203-2002, college: Georgia St.) added 9 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Koeln and four Muenster players scored in double figures. Koeln moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Muenster and Koblenz. Muenster lost their third game in a row.
