Very important is a road loss of second rankedNeustadt TSV (7-1) against fifth ranked Eagles (5-3) on Saturday night. Visiting Neustadt TSV was defeated by Eagles in a tough game in Itzehoe 81-89 . It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Neustadt TSV. Itzehoe looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Lucien Schmikale (194-1997) who scored 22 points and 4 assists. Forward Finn Fleute (208-2000, college: UT Tyler) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Eagles players scored in double figures. American Zyon Patterson (201-2000, college: HSU) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and Aime Olma (193-2004) added 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Itzehoe moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Schwelm. Loser Neustadt TSV still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with ETB Miners and Coburg.
