There was a surprise result when tenth rankedKangaroos (4-7) beat higher ranked Eagles (7-4) in Itzehoe 75-71 on Friday. American-Cape Verdean forward Tyson Leitao (199-2002, college: Tampa) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 18 rebounds for the winning side and Christopher Schultz (194-2003) accounted for 18 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Forward Finn Fleute (208-2000, college: UT Tyler) came up with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and Dutch point guard Sven Cikara (188-2001, agency: One Motive Sports) added 12 points and 6 assists respectively for Itzehoe in the defeat. Four Itzehoe players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Iserlohn went down to eleventh position due to points difference, which they share with Rhoendorf. Loser Eagles dropped to the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Schwelm and Neustadt TSV.
