Everything went according to plan when second rankedSSV Lok Bernau (8-3) defeated at home 14th ranked TKS 49ers (2-9) 89-71 on Sunday. Bernau forced 30 TKS 49ers turnovers. Anton Nufer (204-2006) notched 6 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and naturalized American point guard Anthony Watkins (194-2000) supported him with 15 points. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by guard Roy Krupnikas (186-2006) did not help to save the game for TKS 49ers . Joel Lungelu (204-2003) added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bernau maintains second position with 8-3 record having just two points less than leader Coburg.
