Regular Season Round 9: Saarlouis - Keltern 69-77

Date: November 30, 2025
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Royals (8-1) in Saarlouis on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Stars (8-1) 77-69. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Royals. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Keltern looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for the former international point guard Alexandra Wilke (175-1996) who led her team to a victory with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Bulgarian point guard Karina Konstantinova (173-1999) contributed with 7 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. American guard Martha Burse (168-1996, college: Indianapolis) answered with 20 points and the former international forward Emma Eichmeyer (182-2000) added 15 points in the effort for Saarlouis. Four Saarlouis players scored in double figures. Stars have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Saarlouis. Keltern is looking forward to face ALBA Berlin (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Saarlouis will play against Noerdlingen (#9) and are hoping to win this game.
