We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Weissenfels where 5th rankedMBA (1-7) was crushed by sixth ranked Dresden (1-7) 96-70 on Sunday. Dresden dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to MBA 's 42. Dresden forced 20 MBA turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including a 42-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Erwin Ludwig who scored 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Leonardo Benitez chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Dresden players scored in double figures. Mark Chetverhov produced 17 points and 7 rebounds and Mohamed Ibrahim added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts.
