There was a surprise result in Gruenberg where twelfth rankedBaskets (3-9) smashed higher ranked Oberhausen (4-7) 81-55 on Saturday. Gruenberg forced 26 Oberhausen turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Emma Kramer who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Charlotte Kohl who added 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Baskets players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Tessa Brugler (185-1999, college: Drexel) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and Jarla Mueller scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gruenberg moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Oberhausen dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with Mainz.
