There was a minor upset when 5th rankedALBA Berlin (5-6) lost on the road to seventh ranked Halle (5-7) 82-76 on Sunday. The winners were led by American-Austrian power forward Alexia Allesch (185-1998, college: Seton Hall) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Romy Baer (187-1987) supported her with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals. Even 14 points and 5 rebounds by Canadian-Hungarian center Alexandria Kiss-Rusk (194-1993, college: McGill) did not help to save the game for ALBA Berlin . The former international forward Marie Bertholdt (183-1995, college: Santa Clara) added 12 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. ALBA Berlin's coach Cristo Cabrera rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Halle maintains seventh position with 5-7 record. Loser ALBA Berlin dropped to the sixth place with six games lost.
