Hannover (#4) was upset in Hannover by seventh ranked Marburg 71-63 . The winners were led by American center Allyson Fertig (193, college: Wyoming) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Marianna Byvatov (170-2005) supported her with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Marburg's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by Swedish guard Lovisa Hjern (175-1999) did not help to save the game for Hannover . American forward Alyssa Brown (185, college: UNLV) added 11 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Four Hannover players scored in double figures. Marburg (8-8) moved-up to sixth place. Hannover at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost.
