Regular Season Round 18: Hamburg - Chemnitz 86-69

Date: January 31, 2026
There was a small surprise when sixteenth ranked Hamburg Towers (5-10) won against at home 13th ranked Chemnitz (7-11) 86-69 on Saturday. American guard Devon Daniels (196-1998, college: NC State, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) notched 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and French center Zacharie Perrin (207-2004, college: Illinois) supported him with 5 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Hamburg Towers' coach Benka Barloschky used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by naturalized Ivorian forward Kevin Yebo (207-1996) did not help to save the game for Chemnitz. The former international Kostja Mushidi (195-1998) added 15 points. Hamburg Towers have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixteenth position with 5-10 record. Chemnitz lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Weissenfels. Hamburg will meet at home bottom-ranked Braunschweig (#18) in the next round. Chemnitz will play against Weissenfels (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
