No shocking result in a game when second rankedRheinland (17-1) crushed on the road 8th ranked Oberhausen (6-11) 104-67 on Saturday. Leverkusen forced 27 Oberhausen turnovers. The winners were led by American forward Tessa Brugler (185-1999, college: Drexel) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Kendra Parra (175-2001, college: Weber St.) supported her with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Five Rheinland players scored in double figures. Rheinland's coach Patrick Reusch felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 20 points and 15 rebounds by forward Maja Manten (178-2005) did not help to save the game for Oberhausen . Laura Lohse added 13 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Rheinland have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Leverkusen maintains second position with 17-1 record having just three points less than leader Bad Homburg. Loser Oberhausen dropped to the tenth place with 11 games lost.
