Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh rankedNeustadt TSV and 9th ranked Rist Wedel had identical 11-12 record. But Rist Wedel was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Neustadt 82-72 on Wednesday night. Neustadt TSV dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Rist Wedel 's 32. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian Matej Jelovcic (185-1998) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds and forward Robin Kniss (208-2002, college: CS Los Angeles) who added 12 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Five Neustadt TSV players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian forward Lincoln Rosebush (208-1999, agency: BIG) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Darren Egbe (180-2007) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Neustadt TSV (12-12) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with H.Loewen. Rist Wedel lost third consecutive game.
