DBBL top team -Stars (21-1) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Halle (11-11) in Remchingen 82-74 . Keltern made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Dutch power forward Maud Huijbens (190-2002, college: Gonzaga) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Bulgarian point guard Karina Konstantinova (173-1999) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Four Stars players scored in double figures. At the losing side American-Austrian power forward Alexia Allesch (185-1998, college: Seton Hall) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Liz Smith (175, college: Pacific) scored 17 points. Stars have an impressive 21-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 21-1 record. Halle at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Marburg.
