Regular Season Round 24: Bamberg - Stuttgart MTV 65-83

The most shocking disappointment of round 24 was a home defeat of 7th rankedBamberg (10-11) by eighth ranked Stuttgart MTV (11-10) who outscored them by 18 points 83-65 . Stuttgart MTV made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Bamberg turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Chanell Williams (163-1999, college: URI) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Joanna Scheu (167-2005) who added 14 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Stuttgart MTV players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian guard Hailey Van Roekel (175-1998, college: TWU) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and British center Elise Tweedie (194-2001) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stuttgart MTV moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Freiburg 2. Bamberg at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost.
