There was no surprise when 9th rankedMainz (7-15) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Stuttgart MTV (12-10) 75-70 on Saturday. Point guard Joanna Scheu (167-2005) stepped up and scored 16 points and 4 assists for the winners and guard Selma Yesilova (176-2001) chipped in 14 points. Five Stuttgart MTV players scored in double figures. Stuttgart MTV's coach Cyril Dasilva used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Taylor Golembiewski (173-2003, college: Colgate) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import Jordan Barron (183-2001) scored 17 points. The victory was the third consecutive win for Stuttgart MTV . They moved-up to sixth place. Mainz lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 15 games lost.
