SSV Lok Bernau dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to H.Loewen's 28. They outrebounded H.Loewen 35-21 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for SSV Lok Bernau especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by H.Loewen's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Center Nevio Bennefeld (212-2007) nailed 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Anton Nufer (204-2006) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four SSV Lok Bernau players scored in double figures. SSV Lok Bernau's coach Dan Oppland felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest.
