Rheinland forced 20 Sharks turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Tessa Brugler (185-1999, college: Drexel) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. The other American import guard Kendra Parra (175-2001, college: Weber St.) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Rheinland players scored in double figures. Rheinland's coach Patrick Reusch used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Paula Wenemoser (190-2003) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Anne Kathleen (172-1997) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Sharks.
