Not a big story in a game in Thessaloniki where 8th ranked AGOR (4-8) was defeated by fourth ranked Aris (9-3) 72-60 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was guard Thodoris Zaras (197-88) who scored 25 points. American forward Okaro White (206-92, college: Florida St., agency: Comsport) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Ryan Harrow (188-91, college: Georgia St.) who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import Tyler Stone (203-91, college: SE Missouri St.) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Aris moved-up to third place, which they share with AEK Athens. Loser AGOR dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Apollon Patras. Aris will meet Kolossos (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. AGOR will play against the league's second-placed Olympiacos and hope to secure a win.
