Semi-Finals Game 2: Panathinaikos - Aris 74-60

Panathinaikos fended off Aris at home court to gain 2-0 lead in the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Panathinaikos. Aris was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Panathinaikos dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Aris' 22. Panathinaikos forced 22 Aris turnovers. International point guard Nick Calathes (198-89, college: Florida) notched 12 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and the former international point guard Dimitris Diamantidis (196-80) supported him with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Five Panathinaikos players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Okaro White (206-92, college: Florida St.) did not help to save the game for Aris. His fellow American import point guard Dominic Waters (185-86, college: Portland St.) added 15 points for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
