Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Kymis and 9th ranked Promitheas had identical 4-6 record. This time Kymis used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Patras 77-66. Promitheas was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 38-26 second half run of Kymis. They outrebounded Promitheas 41-23 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Promitheas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Promitheas' coach Nikos Vetoulas let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Kymis maintains eighth place with 5-6 record. Promitheas lost their third game in a row. Promitheas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Kymis' next round opponent will be Apollon Patras (#10) on the road. Promitheas will play against the league's leader Olympiacos and will have a slim chance for a victory.
