Everything went according to plan in Athens where eighth ranked Amyntas Dafnis (4-3) beat 13th ranked AE Larissas (2-6) 61-55. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 20-12 run, which allowed them to win the game. 27 personal fouls committed by AE Larissas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
