Regular Season Round 21: Kolossos HH - Aris 96-90

The game in Rodou was also quite interesting. 7th ranked Aris (10-11) played at the court of eighth ranked Kolossos HH (10-10). Kolossos HH managed to secure a 6-point victory 96-90 on Saturday. Kolossos HH made 28-of-32 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Kendall Smith (190-1995, college: OK State) who scored 28 points (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). American-Georgian guard Michael Dixon (186-1990, college: Memphis) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard Vasileios Toliopoulos (186-1996) who recorded 20 points and 6 assists and American forward Chevez Goodwin (206-1998, college: USC) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Four Kolossos HH and five Aris players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kolossos HH moved-up to seventh place. Loser Aris dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. Kolossos HH will meet Lavrio (#9) on the road in the next round. Aris will play against Promitheas and hope to secure a win.
