Regular Season Round 22: Olympiacos - Panionios 95-64

Very predictable result in Piraeus where second ranked Olympiacos (20-2) smashed 7th ranked Panionios (9-13) 95-64 on Sunday. Olympiacos forced 20 Panionios turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Alec Peters (206-1995, college: Valpo) fired 31 points for the winners. International guard Nazareth Mitrou-Long (193-1993, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Olympiacos players scored in double figures. American guard Devon Daniels (196-1998, college: NC State, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 11 points and Cameroonian center Landry Nnoko (208-1994, college: Clemson) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Olympiacos have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-2 record having just two points less than leader Panathinaikos. Panionios lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Aris Midea.
