Panathinaikos dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Peristeri 's 28. Panathinaikos looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Panathinaikos made 7 blocks. The former international power forward Kostas Mitoglou (210-1996, college: Wake Forest) stepped up and scored 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the winners and Spanish Juancho Hernangomez (206-1995) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Chris Coffey (201-1997, college: Georgetown, KY, agency: One Motive Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import CJ Harris (191-1991, college: Wake Forest) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
