Quarter-Finals Round 1: Megaridas - Koroivos 91-89

Megaridas made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Koroivos turnovers. Strangely Koroivos outrebounded Megaridas 46-31 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Aristotelis Sotiriou (203-2001, college: Adelphi) stepped up and scored 26 points (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) for the winners and Athanasios Grekas (196-1996) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Megaridas' coach Giorgos Mandalos used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American point guard RJ Glasper (186-1998, college: UIW) responded with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Charilaos Paraskevopoulos (199-2005) scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Koroivos players scored in double figures.
