Zwolle had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Den Bosch helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Jalen Thomas (208-2000, college: Butler, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The other American import forward Nelson Haskin (202-1999, college: Columbus St., agency: Olsta) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Zwolle players scored in double figures. Canadian guard Keevan Veinot (193-1998, college: Dalhousie) produced 12 points and the former international forward Luuk Van Bree (203-1996, college: Bradley) added 5 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Den Bosch's coach Erik Braal rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
